Sheryl Underwood, an American comedian, TV host and actress famous for hosting the popular daily talk show The Talk. Sheryl Underwood, born in Arkansas was raised in Arkansas in the area of Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl has the same family which has experienced numerous issues. She spent the majority of her youth taking care of Frankie. Frankie suffered from polio. She had a lot of problems with her mother as she was growing up. Sheryl states that her mother had a time when she stabbed her father for getting too close. Sheryl joined up the military right after her graduation from her college. However, her love for comedy was always there. The show was named the first female winner in the Miller Lite Comedy Search, held in 1989. Her TV career when she was regularly performing at The HBO Comedy Show Def Comedy Jam in 1992. She was a TV host for the 2000 season of Oh Drama! The show has also featured her as host of The Talk since 2011. Also, she's played a fictional character in programs like Bulworth Nicki and Beauty Shop.
